Hey there Boys and Girls. Welcome to our all new shiny website! We shall be updating this here page monthly (or as & when we wanna tell you things) so keep checking back here for all the current chitchat.
Firstly we would like to say a super-size thank you to Sam Grady for getting this site up, running & oh so fine. Also, thank yous to Jonny Thompson for the colour pics and Amy Gwatkin for the B&Ws.
So. November has been a grand ol' month. We played a really enjoyable gig Upstairs at The Garage with Oregon USA based Rock 'n' Roll Soldiers which gave our murder ballad "Shoot You Down" its first airing. Paul C-Jags & Paul Harris from B-Unique DJ'd for extra notes. (Supposedly til the wee hours, only they shut the place down at 11.30. The quickest £50 ever made!) Then came our 1234 records residency at On The Rocks, which was a great gig, completely rammed full of good people going berserk on a Thursday! This led to a heavy, heavy, weekend that ended on a complete high with a full-venue show for Hair Riots at 93 Feet East.
This month has also seen our first UK radio airplay with John Kennedy playing Tambourine Song a few times over the course of the last week on his X-posure show on Xfm. You can check his show out on 104.9fm, Monday - Thursday 23.00-01.00.
Anyone up for a grand Christmas shindig that doesn't involve office scenarios
should head down to the Drowned In Sound Xmas Party at The Marquee on
Monday 20th December. We've played a summer party for D.I.S. before, and
that involved a BBQ six bands and all sorts, so who knows what Christmas
might bring?? Mulled Wine, Santa Grotto, Dwarves in green pantie-hoes
maybe!? Anyway, we've been confirmed to play this do along with some very
special guests. Check here nearer the date for further information.
